“In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.” – Albert Camus

After emigrating to Ireland over a decade ago, it never crossed Willeke’s mind that her life would be dealt a blow by MS. A former library assistant from Belgium with an interest in books, psychology and history, writing was a dream not yet turned reality. This changed after Willeke retired from work because of her MS. Refusing to let MS define her, she is an avid blogger on Ireland, Multiple Sclerosis & Me. With good insight on what drives people, voluntary advocating neurology services for those who cannot do so themselves became a way of dealing with reality in a positive way. Willeke has an inquisitive mind always looking to learn, and loves networking, reading, animals, her family and not to forget, coffee!

*Living Like You bloggers are financially compensated at a reasonable market rate for their time. Payments to bloggers in no way influences their writing, opinions or perspectives on life with multiple sclerosis.
