Claudia Dieckmann / South Africa

“MS continually challenges me to find the balance between pride and humility.” - Anonymous

Claudia was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has since moved to Cape Town after traveling to the UK for an extended period. Miraculously (unfortunately) she was diagnosed a mere 18 months after returning to South Africa and relies dearly on the support of her friends, family and doctors. Having left full employment because of multiple sclerosis, she fills her time and finds great fulfilment in volunteer work. Living the life of a house cat, with plenty of eating, sleeping and the occasional jaunt into the outside world, Claudia has embraced the art of moderation, her key to living with MS.
